The challenge
A photo library makes it easy to collect images, but not always to remember why a moment mattered. This concept explores a more personal way to keep a small collection of photographs and short notes.
The direction
A journal where one photograph and a few words can become an entry. A chronological view and simple collections provide structure without likes, rankings or engagement prompts.
The process
I explored the difference between taking a photograph, selecting it later and giving it context. The interface follows those moments, with a short capture flow and a reading view that leaves room for the image.
Design decisions
Photographs have a consistent frame without forcing every image into the same crop. Captions remain readable, and navigation stays quiet. The red accent is reserved for a clear action or a selected entry.
What comes next
A next version could explore accessible descriptions, export and the practicalities of keeping a private journal over time. This is a concept project, not a commercial product or a documented client assignment.
